There are thousands of online courses and very little signal about which ones are worth your time. This checklist fixes that.
Look at the teacher, not the marketing
Has this person actually done the work they teach? Search for their portfolio and student work. A teacher with a real practice teaches things a scripted course never can.
Read the syllabus like a map
A good syllabus tells you where you start, where you end and what you will make along the way. Vague outcomes usually mean vague results. You want projects, not just theory.
Check the community
Courses with active forums and critique loops keep you accountable. Learning alone is possible; learning with feedback is faster. Ask how feedback is delivered before you enroll.
Price is the last question, not the first. The right course pays for itself; the wrong one is expensive at any price.
